Lupus Clinical Trials

We are currently seeking men and women over the age of 18 for multiple lupus studies.

As with many other diseases, there isn't a cure for lupus. Over the last 50 years, only one drug has been approved to treat a lupus diagnosis. Most lupus patients are treated for their specific type of lupus with medications that will control the disease. Researchers are always looking at promising new treatment and ways to eliminate or diminish side effects of existing medicines.  The health professionals at Altoona Center for Clinical Research continue to find ways to care and treat for people with lupus. If you or a family member has been diagnosed with lupus, the Altoona Center for Clinical Research offers the largest number of trials in Central Pennsylvania that may be able to help you control lupus.

The clinical trials taking place at Altoona Center for Clinical Research are new treatment methods that have been developed to help reduce pain and improve the quality of your life.

The clinical trials at Altoona Center for Clinical Research are overseen by some of the most notable physician specialists in the country. Your participation will guarantee you:

  • investigational medication
  • lab testing
  • insurance is not required
  • complimentary transportation can be arranged if needed
