We are currently seeking men and women over the ages of 18 for low back pain studies. 

The second most common ailment in the United States, low back pain has affected nearly every person. It interferes with activities, recreation, and work. There are two types of low back pain - acute, short-term back pain that lasts for a few days; or chronic, which is measured over a period of more than three months and gets progressively worse.   The health professionals at Altoona Center for Clinical Research have several studies going on now for chronic low back pain.   If you or a family member have been diagnosed with chronic low back pain, the Altoona Center for Clinical Research is currently offering several  studies that may be helpful to controlling your pain without surgery.
