Fibromyalgia Syndrome Clinical Trials

We are currently seeking women between the ages of 18 to 59 for a fibromyalgia syndrome study. 

Estimated to be affecting between 2-4% of women, Fibromyalgia is a medical disorder characterized by chronic widespread pain, debilitating fatigue, sleep disturbance, and joint stiffness.  Hard to diagnosis, physicians know that fibromyalgia syndrome involves a variety of factors working together.  Although there is no cure to fibromyalgia syndrome, patients participating in clinical trials have shown to have reduced symptoms and feel better.  The health professionals at Altoona Center for Clinical Research continue to offer treatment options.  If you or a family member has been diagnosed with fibromyalgia syndrome, the Altoona Center for Clinical Research is currently offering several  studies that may be helpful to controlling this disease.
